A transparent house takes in the hillside views, but stays low to the ground. Nestled into the landscape and maintaining a tight footprint, the house stands in contrast to its hulking neighbors. It takes its luxury in open space.

The roof garden is an oasis floating above a private, yet glassy modern home in touch with the landscape on all sides. In addition to providing a place for respite (and mad parties), it insulates the house from the harsh SoCal sun. Natural ventilation allows for open, breezy living in a unique micro climate, minimizing the need for air conditioning, delivering the California dream of indoor-outdoor living.
